On our last trip to New York, we stopped by Pilgrim Surf & Supply, the Brooklyn surf shop Chris Gentile opened earlier this year. Pilgrim combines Chris’ love of surf, art and design, and stocks beautifully crafted boards, swimwear, streetwear and a careful selection of art and surf-related books. While we were at the shop, we had a chance to meet Chris, who put us on to local exhibitions, Victory magazine, Mociun and, even though we were 3,000 miles away, made us feel like we were right at home.
