On Saturday, June 9, friend and photographer Greg Bojorquez will unveil .45 Point Blank at Hardhitta Gallery in Los Angeles. The exhibition is curated by Bene Taschen, and will feature 45 photos taken between 1992 and 2012. “I’ve worked on edits with other people,” Bojorquez tells Citizens of Humanity, “and Bene is the best. I feel he understands my work and I’m really confident in this show.”
The title of the exhibition is a reference to its main works: a series of five photographs that Bojorquez took during a fatal shootout at the intersection of Sunset and Vine. In addition to this series, the exhibition will feature iconic examples of Bojorquez’s work—from intimate portraits of East Los Angeles to glamorous images of Hollywood.
“I just want to put up a good show,” Bojorquez says, “and I hope it leaves an impression on people.”

.45 Point Blank opens on June 9 and runs through July 12. For more information, visit Hardhitta Gallery.
