We've been in a very California state of mind for the past few weeks, and fittingly enough, we've had the work of California artist John Baldessari on the brain. His modern approach to minimalism and bold use of color is nothing short of fantastic.

So we were excited to discover this six-minute video on the artist. Narrated by singer Tom Waits (because “he’s got a great voice,” Baldessari deadpans in the video), A Brief History of John Baldessari is as informative as it is fun.
